Ok I’m off to work, I’ll spill the beans later about all the yummy advice Reuben gave me on skype. If you guys are interested and think it’s a good idea I’ll make prints of this piece. Also this is one of two pieces which will be painted from stills of that video!

Taking a painting break, mainly because I just painted the perfect ear. The plaid in this is going to be challenging. I’m never painted plaid before, especially not in watercolor.

Gracious and Grateful
Woke up to a phone call to settle the claim over the wreck I was in back in November, courteousness checks are great surprises to wake up to. So glad to have that it will help me out a bit to get by why my hours are so short.
Had an awesome turkey, tomato, avocado pesto wrap for dinner. Now I’m about to paint I’m going to try and start painting loose portraits in one of my moleskines...

This is depressing but thankfully I got to see Scott’s artwork last time, and I’m quite glad there seems to be a better turn out this time than last. I’m jealous of you guys seeing the new artwork that was definitely not at the last show, and some oldies that are on his art blog but weren’t shown at the last show either.

Oh look at this girl got a raise, to a whole whopping $7.57 but hey it’s a raise even if it cancels out on my pay checks because of my health insurance haha, but hey part time benefits those are good too!
